Dies R Us Inspiration

I'm sharing a black and white, with a splash of red card on the DRU Inspiration Blog today.

I first die cut all the elements and used a stylus to shape the die cut flowers

Then, layered the red frame onto the diamond panel before adhering to the cardbase

Once on the cardbase I arranged one of the layered blooms and the die cut word to complete the card

Here's a close up of the stitched bloom

Dies used from the DRU online store:

HMFMC #260 - Spring Colors

The House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #260 theme is always anything goes with the optional challenge of  Spring Colors.  I chose the Spring Colors theme.

For my card I used the House Mouse Spring Swing stamp.  The sentiment is from the Stampendous Spring Sentiments stamp set.  I colored the image using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and an aqua brush.  The patterned papers are from my stash.  I created a double loop bow using Really Reasonable Ribbon to embellish my card.

We hope you'll share with us at the HMFMC #260 Challenge using any House Mouse, Happy Hoppers, or Gruffies stamps.

PIP Challenge #1807

This week's anything goes PIP Challenge is sponsored by Digital Delights.

For my card, I used Celebration Owl digi stamp.  I printed the image onto Bristol cardstock and watercolored using Distress Inks and an aqua brush.  I die cut a Spellbinders scallop circle to create the card base and die cut the image using a Spellbinders circle die.  Embellished with a double bow created using Really Reasonable Ribbon.

We hope you'll share your cards/projects with us this week at PIP Challenge #1807.

The CAS Challenge is to create a card as a random act of kindess (RAK) and then to send it!

For my card, I used stamp sets from Altenew.  The cardbase is cut from an A2 size PTI die.  I stamped the image and heat embossed then colored using zig clean color real brush pens and die cut it using a matching die from Altenew.

We hope you'll create a RAK card and then actually give it for no reason other than to be kind!  You can find the CAS Challenge HERE.
